Barry George wins Appeal (November 15, 2007)
 Barry George has won his appeal against his conviction for the murder of BBC presenter Jill Dando in 1999. The Court of Appeal has declared that his conviction in 2001 was unsafe and has ordered a re-trial which will take place early next year. In the meantime Barry George has been remanded in prison.
